Teir1 Z
Z provides a broad portfolio of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) to domestic and international auto manufacturers (OEMs).
Equipped with microcomputer simulator to realize high efficiency ECU software using virtual ECU
Using a virtual ECU development environment that is built using a simulator enables an environment where you can start developing software several months before starting development work on production units.
We respond flexibly to software development needs such as wanting to use it to develop ECU prototype software in a month's time, which has been difficult until now.
BACKGROUND
Need to efficiently develop ECU prototype software
Z has been working to make software development more efficient when developing ECU prototypes.
When developing an ECU prototype on a production unit, you need to procure electronic components including microprocessors to populate printed circuit boards before you can start developing prototype software. This required a long lead time and man-hours for development (including loss time due to rework) and had to be improved.
reason
RYODEN had the know-how around how to develop using a simulator.
RYODEN supports your building simulator environment using the following know-how:
・ Eliminating ECU prototype for a production unit
・ Establishing development methodology using a microprocessor simulator (process construction flow and model componentization)
benefits
Being able to prepare a prototype ECU development environment in a short time, making ECU development more efficient
Use of a microprocessor simulator enables building a prototype ECU development environment in a short time (about 2 weeks to 3 months). Furthermore, you can start developing software several months before you have a production unit environment.
We have established a method to create a process construction flow and model componentization. It is now possible to respond to your urgent needs such as commencing use in just one month.
