  1. Is internet connection required?

    Customers do not need to prepare internet connection. Pescle Rodents and Insects sensors are equipped with LTE and we will provide you with a SIM card.

  2. Which carrier do you use for LTE communication?

    It depends on countries and regions.

  3. Is it powered by external power?

    Rodents: Battery powered. If you would like to use AC power, please contact us.
    Insects: Powered by AC power.

  4. Can it be used outdoors?

    Indoor use only.

  5. Are the countries where it is available specified?

    Yes. Please inquire about the countries where it is available.

  6. How long will the captured footage/images be stored for?

    One year

Contract

  1. Who will install the sensors?

    The equipment will be delivered to your designated location, and you will be asked to set it up yourself.
    If you would like us to install it for you, please contact us separately.

  2. Who will configure the equipment (sensors)?

    We will send you the configured device (sensor).
    Please turn the power ON before installing the unit.

  3. Is there a minimum contract period?

    The minimum contract period is one year.

  4. Is there a trial period?

    Please contact us.

  5. What's provided?

    We provide cameras, cloud servers, and a dedicated Pescle website. For details, please see the pricing plan page.

  6. Is there anything else I need to have besides what is provided?

    What you need to prepare will vary depending on the product. Please see the pricing page for details.

  7. Can I buy a camera?

    This is a subscription service and cannot be purchased. Please return it after the contract ends.

  8. How much does your service cost?

Rodents

Function

  1. How long does the battery last?

    Approximately 250 shots of 10-second video are possible. In poor signal conditions or when the camera is responding frequently, the duration will be shorter.

  2. Is the pest detection footage a video or a still image?

    The 10 seconds video footage.

  3. Is there a limit to the number of times I can record a video?

    Yes, there is a limit to the number of photos you can take per month and day. Please contact us for more information.

  4. Is there a limit to the number of videos I can send per day?

    Yes, we do have restrictions, please contact us for more information.

  5. Are there any other small animals besides rodents that may react to this product?

    In principle, it reacts to rodents. It may also detect small animals that resemble rodents.

  6. Can it be operated on AC power?

    Battery powered. If you would like to use AC power, please contact us.

  7. Is it waterproof?

    Although the product is waterproof and dustproof, it is not completely waterproof. Please take measures to protect the product from water when using it outdoors.
    Examples of countermeasures:
    - Install in a location that is not exposed to direct rain
    - Install a rain cover

  8. How do I install the camera?

    Use either a tripod or clamp with M2 screw.

  1. What kind of light traps are compatible with Pescle light trap?

    Yes. Currently, only Earth Environmental Services' ESCO641 is supported.

  2. Are there any size limits for detecting flying insects?

    It detects flying insects larger than 0.5 mm.

  3. Is it waterproof?

    No, it is not waterproof.
