  • RoboSensor is a wire-type sensor that has the potential to detect what conventional accelerometers or AE sensors cannot measure. It enables measurement of frequencies below 10 Hz and above 20 Hz, which are undetectable with conventional accelerometers, and underwater vibrations. It is resistant to electromagnetic noise and, not detecting moments of inertia, is also capable of measuring vibrations of objects involving moments of inertia, thereby enabling elevator vibration measurements, whereas conventional accelerometers are, in principle, incapable of measuring vibrations of elevators, because they are unable to prevent the generation of noise derived from the moment of inertia. Its wire-type shape allows it to be wrapped around curved surfaces for installation. With a wide bandwidth, it is applicable to predictive maintenance of various facilities and quality inspections using ultrasonic cleaners/sealers. 1. Wide bandwidth: detectable from 0.1 Hz to 3 MHz. 2. Wire type: ultra-thin (0.5 mm) & ultra-light (0.08 g/cm). 3. High sensitivity & low noise: low noise model (≤8 μV, S/N ≥140 dB), which makes it possible to detect forces as low as 0.1 mN. 4. No power supply required, waterproof structure (sensor part).
